The Tri-Cities, Tennessee/Virginia community is a great place to live and raise a family.  We are blessed with an abundance of natural beauty and resources.  The Preston Woodworking family is proud to be a part of this community and we are committed to doing our share to foster opportunities for enhancing the well-being of its citizens.  Presently we are actively supporting the following organizations:

Every afternoon, kids come by the vanload to The Rock, a community center under the direction of the Coalition for Kids, Inc.  The Coalition is a non-profit organization with a mission to help children in need.  Here they find a safe place, help with homework, reading and math assistance, music and art lessons, athletics, special preventive programs for violence and substance abuse, and a free snack and dinner.  Through the Coalition staff and a network of volunteer counselors, we are eyewitnesses to something wonderful...lives changed, one child at a time.

ETSU boasts a long tradition of success in its fund-raising nucleus, the ETSU Foundation.  The Foundation is a separate, legally incorporated, not-for-profit entity founded in 1970 to generate and receive private support for the university.  Gifts to the Foundation are invested into a general investment portfolio handled by professional money managing firms and monitored by the organization's standing Investment Committee.  The Foundation receives private gifts for the University in accordance with its agreement with ETSU.
